The Okanagan doesn't stop when the wineries close. It moves downtown, to the patios, to the barrel-lit cocktail rooms, and to the corner tables where the chefs still cook by hand.
This is the guide to that other half of the day. Every place here has a real reputation — four stars or better on Google, no exceptions. Some are winery restaurants that stay open into the evening. Some are downtown standbys that have been here for decades. Some are new. All of them are worth the drive.
And when you're done — we'll take you home safe.
Summerland
Summerland's dining scene is understated and consistent — a stone-house Italian classic, a lakeside cove that everyone's known about for years, a couple of good breweries, and a few Mediterranean rooms with warm hospitality. It's the kind of town where the servers know regulars by name, and the wine on the list came from the vineyard down the road.
